Martin Allen
Enquire nowMartin’s passion is to see leaders everywhere mentored, equipped and released into all that God has for them
Martin has served the Church both in the UK and overseas for many years. He was brought up in the Brethren Church Movement, experienced 9 years living in an all things in common Christian Community, became ordained as a Pentecostal Minister, pastored a church in Alcester and spent three years as a Missionary in Tanzania with his wife Sue. Through these experiences, the Lord forged within them a sincere love for God and His kingdom. As such, they value servant heartedness and developing wholesome, authentic relationships with the Lord and His people through prayer, openness and heart sharing. They enjoy helping to model these values in the missional family style Micro-church that they lead from their home.
As a qualified and experienced School Teacher, over the years, Martin has developed a strong passion to help ‘equip the saints for the work of ministry’ as we read of in Ephesians 4:11-12. During his time in Tanzania, he became the British Director of The Joshua Foundation and helped train leaders up to degree level, while studying to obtain a Masters’ Degree in Leadership and Cross-Cultural Mission.
When they returned to the UK in 2005, Martin developed and launched Caleb 14:24 Ministries – a leadership training and consultancy ministry based in Wales. Since that time, hundreds of leaders have been trained in the UK and some countries in Africa. He continues in that role as their Founding Director.
